Field’s conceptual fine art photography is an expression of the self  through experimental photographic processes. Known for her digital artworks created from deconstructed photographs, Field’s latest interest lies with the spontaneity of in-camera effects. Through her art, she explores existential themes around consciousness, our connection with nature and the transmigration of the soul; imploring viewers to reflect upon their own humanity. Field attended her first artist residency in 2016 at the Arteles Creative Center in Finland, where she spent a month exploring the Finnish forests where she ultimately created her latest series: “Human.Nature”.
The artist’s limited edition works are represented by Berman Contemporary.

Natalie Field is a photographer, digital artist and educator based in Sandton, South Africa.
