Services | Photography, Design & Motion
Natalie Field Photography has expanded its core services to include photography, design and motion for a digital experience that can be applied to commercial advertising campaigns, catalogues, social content and more.
Conceptual Photography
Field’s conceptual fine art
photography is an expression of the self through experimental
photographic processes. Known for her digital artworks created from
deconstructed photographs, Field’s latest interest lies with the spontaneity of
in-camera effects. Through her art, she explores existential themes around
consciousness, our connection with nature and the transmigration of the soul;
imploring viewers to reflect upon their own humanity. Field attended her first
artist residency in 2016 at the Arteles Creative
Center in
Finland, where she spent a month exploring the Finnish forests where she
ultimately created her latest series: “Human.Nature”.
The artist’s limited edition works are
represented by Berman Contemporary.

Fashion Photography
Field’s core service is focused on conceptual fashion photography. It takes into consideration the fashion and beauty photograph’s creative and commercial applications. As such, the portfolio offers clean compositions, vibrant colours and tack sharp images suited to high-end fashion. Field’s clients trust her to assist with the art direction and creation of eye-catching images that share a single idea or theme as part of their brand communications. Fashion clients include South African designers Thabo Makhetha, Rumbie by Rumbie and Clad Chic. Passionate about story-telling, Field’s fashion photography services is also perfectly suited to contemporary fashion narratives for editorial. She has recently collaborated on internationally published editorials with “Johannesburg Dream” for Vaunt, “Neo-Tribal’ for OK Okay and “Retro Nights” for Philocaly magazines respectively.

Portraiture Photography
Portraiture photography is focussed on the sitter as subject matter, rather than on the fashion or project. Field Photography creates portraits for artists, musicians, yogis, dancers and celebrities. Whether conceptual portraits or clean head shots, the emphasis is placed on the character of the personality, as this is the product that one would sell. Working in studio and on location, Field’s portfolios offers versatility to your profile or comp card. The portraiture gallery features conceptual portraiture for photography duo Jack and Jane, album cover art for musician Ashlinn Gray, environmental portraits for artists like Stompie Selebi and John Vusi Mfupi represented by Berman Contemporary and model portfolios for actors like Charlene Brouwer at PACE Model Agency.

Commercial Photography
Creating commercial art for advertising, the Field Photography team captures products, architecture and interiors, and lifestyle for campaigns and online catalogues. The company now offers in-house design for a complete branding experience. Graphic art should not only be considered as an accompaniment to your photographic experience, but also as a stand-alone product. The NFP team combines graphic and photographic skills to create fully conceptualised advertising campaigns, as can be seen in the work created for clients like Cobb Global and Rapid Studio.

Design
Good graphic design is at the forefront of any successful company’s brand strategy or advertising/marketing campaign. It is impossible to think of any well-known enterprise without imagining it visually. This ability to recognise a brand across media platforms, and more importantly, to remember it, is a result of its visual presence in the market place. A well-constructed corporate identity can instil potential customers with a sense of trust and confidence in your brand. You can see examples of in-house designer Matthew Harvey’s logo, corporate identity, advertising and social content design for clients like Cobb Global, Sightique and Fish and Field Biokineticits in the design gallery.

Motion
Bring your story to life with motion services like motion graphics, cinemagraphs and short films. A multi-media approach offers client communication across platforms and campaigns could include aspects like moving images, title sequences, info graphics and more. Motion graphics and videos consistently garner more engagement than static media across all media platforms. If one picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth even more. Drive interaction and brand awareness with motion graphics and show your clientele that your businesses is at the next level.
